ニューヨークを中心に活動するJapanese Medical Society of America (JMSA)では、JMSA コミュニティ・アウトリーチ・プログラム（JCOP）を通じて、医療的、心理的、社会的サポートを提供する日系コミュニティのNPOプログラムを支援することを目的に、2007年より毎年いくつもの団体をサポートしています。全米より応募を受け付けています。

Dear Japanese and Japanese American community in Texas,

        Greetings from NY! Hope this email finds you well and all of you had a great summer! My name is Mio Sawai, M.D. and today I am emailing your community to spread the words that the Japanese Medical Society of America (JMSA) Community Outreach Program is accepting grant applications for this year.  JMSA has more than 50 years of history and based in NY, became a larger and national organization under the mission of rising health in the Japanese and the Japanese American community in the U.S.

One of the many programs we have is Community Outreach Program (JCOP). We support NPOs that provide medical, mental and social support to the Japanese and the Japanese American community through grants and this program has been running since 2007. We have the majority of recipients in the tristate area, however, we want to make sure we are including and reaching out to those living in non-tristate areas and or smaller Japanese communities. 

If you are an organization that provides medical, emotional and/or social support and contributes to the Japanese community, please consider applying for a grant. The organization must be an NPO (nonprofit organization) to qualify for a JCOP grant. You can request a grant for your specific program for the year or general fund, however, specific programs are preferable. 

Deadline for applications: Friday October 31, 2025
